What is it with horrendous chat up lines? I guess you have to commend the guy for giving it a try but they just do not work! From “did it hurt when you fell from heaven?” to “hey, you look really fun - I had to come talk to you” we have really heard them all but here is our top 5 to completely steer clear from..
1.“Is that a lighter in your pocket or are you just pleased to see me?” Just, no.
2. “Nice dress, it’d look good on my bedroom floor” I don't think you could get anymore blunt?
3.“Here’s 20p call your dad and tell him you won’t be home tonight.” Pre- iPhone this would probably of been a very common chat up line. Thank goodness for mobile phones!
4.“Grab your coat, you’ve pulled!” Still and old favourite and still doesn't work.
5. “Do you have heat vision? Because you are burning a hole right through my heart” This is when things start to sound a little too desperate! So, if you are ever faced with these online, you may do well to just say 'thanks but no thanks' unless you generally find them flattering.
